What They're Saying:

Season of the Witch

Nicolas Cage stars as Behmen, a 14th century crusader who must transport a woman accused of being a witch to a remote monastery. However, they soon discover that she carries a much more powerful secret that may threaten her life and the fate of the entire world.
What They're Saying:
"It takes place during the 14th century, but everyone speaks in contemporary language, which might have been acceptable if the dialogue were clever or intelligent or funny or, you know, good." - Associated Press
"It's creaky, predictable and frequently idiotic. But for a tipsy Saturday night, this should tick all the right boxes." - Time Out
Good For Kids?
This action-packed flick could be a thrill for the teens and tweens.
Blue Valentine
Short Story:
Blue Valentine, starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams, zeros in on a modern-day married couple and the highly electric undercurrents that surround their evolving relationship.
What They're Saying:
"Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams give two of the most explosive and emotionally naked performances you will see anywhere." - Rolling Stone
"Ms. Williams and Mr. Gosling are exemplars of New Method sincerity, able to be fully and achingly present every moment on screen together." - New York Times
Good For Kids?
The charged performances by both Gosling and Williams are in no way kid-friendly.
